You will depart Nairobi early in a luxury 4×4 safari vehicle. You will enjoy a scenic drive northward, crossing the Equator and passing Kenya’s Central Highlands. You will have a brief stopover at the equator point for a brief equator tour.
You will arrive at your hotel in time for check-in and lunch
After lunch, you'll head out on a guided game drive. You will search the dry plains and riverine woodlands for members of the Samburu Special Five, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa Oryx (and the rarer giraffe and gerenuk).
In the evening, you'll return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you'll spend the entire day on guided game drives in Samburu. Continue seeking the Special Five species (especially reticulated giraffe and gerenuk) and observe large elephant herds along the river. Your lunch is served in your hotel before returning to the park for the afternoon guided game drive.
Optional: Late afternoon, you may take an optional visit to a Samburu village to learn about traditional culture (extra fee).
In the evening, you'll dine at the hotel’s restaurant and later overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, you'll depart from Samburu and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (≈4–5 hours). The route winds through the lush foothills of Mt. Kenya. Arrive by midday and enjoy lunch at your Ol Pejeta lodge (all meals included).
In the afternoon, you'll take a guided game drive around Ol Pejeta. You'll visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see rescued chimps as you keep searching for rhinos. Then search the wide savanna for more wildlife: lions, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras.
In the evening, you'll return to your hotel for dinner.
In the morning, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out and departing from Ol Pejeta Conservancy for your scenic drive back to Nairobi. Along the way, there will be a convenient stop for refreshments, a bathroom break, or optional souvenir shopping.
